Now this is…

A story all about how
My life got shaped from then to now
And I’d like to take a minute, just sit right there
I’ll tell you how my journey’s been from LA to here

I was born out west in the city of LA,
By Dodger Stadium is where I used to play,
Chillin’ with my friends, shootin’ hoops all cool,
‘Til I moved cross-country, had to change up schools.

To Brevard, North Carolina, my fam did steer,
Only Chinese student in my whole school for years.
I faced some new looks but I learned to prepare,
Stood tall, cracked jokes, threw sarcasm in the air.

Then I headed to UNCG for my marketing degree,
Studied hard, worked hard, mom felt proud of me.
After grad, I was hustling—two jobs, no slack,
Research by the day, hotel shifts back-to-back.

Sports are my jam—Lakers all the way,
Dodgers on the diamond, Niners on game day.
Catch me out golfing, swing smooth, long drive,
Chasing birdies on the fairway keeps me feelin’ alive.

Started rollin’ on the mats, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu flow,
A year on the grind and my skills start to show.
I stay lifting in the gym, love the sweat and the burn,
Always chasing that PR, always waitin’ my turn.

And don’t get me started on food—I’ll admit it,
Asian eats, sushi, BBQ, pho—I’m with it.
(And tacos? Don’t tempt me, I’ll demolish a dozen,
Competitive with meals like I’m sparrin’ my cousin).

Now I joke, I compete, that’s my natural flair,
On the court, course, or mats, I bring heat everywhere.
If laughter’s the trophy, I’ll claim it with care,
And that’s the tale of my life—yeah, that’s me right there.
